These National Geographic magazines are from the late 1930s through late 1940s. Can you believe they were going to be trashed? Boo! I have barely started paging through them but have already found some great images, wacky stories and bizarre war propaganda. Love it!

Fantastic! I have a bunch of Reader's Digests from the same era (rescued from my grandparents, who were going to burn them) and they are completely addictive! What a world it was...
Oh I'm terrible about saving magazines. I can't wait to see how you use the images.
