Hello Spring!

Two things:

1. We are in the thick of the home buying process and things are kind of nuts.

2. I wish someone wouldn't have told me that there is snow in the forecast this weekend. I avoid the news for a reason!

3. I have been neglecting my blog quite a lot lately. If you're wondering what I'm up to these days, please feel free to stalk me on twitter.

new location to shop space oddities + a little sunshine makes a big difference

Look! New buttons.

I made a batch of buttons, mirrors and magnets last week and shipped them off to Dainty Daisies. Michelle of Dainty Daisies makes the most gorgeous clothing and accessories for women and children and I can't wait to visit her brick & mortar shop! Starting today you can find Space Oddities goodies (and lots of other handmade goodies + vintage items) at the new store, 1606 Oregon St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Check it out if you're in the area!

The sun was out today and it was just what I needed to drag myself out of my little slump. Hooray! I feel genuinely cheerful. Thank goodness.

Okay I am off to screen print cupcakes onto man shirts! Have a great week!

Soooo is anyone else feeling as BLAH as I am? I have been holed up a lot lately. Making cupcakes, movies with the kids, reading (I'm on book 3 of the Twilight series) and watching lots of movies. On the nicer days I've been out enjoying the weather but man, this rainy/snowy weekend killed me! The kids loved walking in the rain with new umbrellas but I've already had enough.

And I am not a big fan of the daylight savings time.

Okay well there you have it. Feel free to comment/vent on your last gasp of winter blues or any other blues here.

I promise my next post will be less whiny. Probably.

Lost in Translation

Just a quick post to share this amazing travel story "Lost in Translation," that my sister-in-law had published in New Orleans Magazine this month. Erin is a talented photographer and is passionate about traveling. This story of strangers in Sardinia just made me melt! You can read it HERE.

And you can see more of Erin's most awesome and inspiring photography HERE.

My family has been sick this week so there has been lots of comforting unhappy toddlers and watching pee-wee's big adventure (Jette's favorite movie right now) over and over and over. I did find a little time on Saturday to get a batch of mirrors and button sets ready for Michelle of dainty daisies who is opening a new shop in a couple of weeks. I also finished my taxes on Wednesday thanks to a fabulous, patient accountant. So all in all it was a pretty productive week!
