The Craftacular is over! It was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out to see me and thanks to Jessi for doing the show with me and just being totally awesome and supportive.

I had the opportunity to appear LIVE on NBC15 on Sunday morning to talk about the Craftacular. I just found the footage and holy crap, my husband wasn't kidding when he said that I said "ummmm" a lot. Ugh. Oh well. The Capital Times featured an article called "Gifts Outside the Big Box" yesterday. It featured the The High Noon Holiday Craftacular and its organizers (Glitter Workshop and EKRA) and also included lots of comments from local crafters including me. Yay! Check it out The HERE

The above picture is of my husband and I and it was taken by my 3 year old Lars. It's about as enthusiastic as we get lately. It's been a long week! We had a nice Thanksgiving in La Crosse with my family today and got home in time to get a few things done around the house and start heat setting all of the onesies and bibs I screen printed this week. I hope to finish lots more before this weekend!

Craftacular Time!!

The High Noon Holiday Craftacular is this weekend! If you're in the Madison, Wisconsin area, please please come check it out! Featuring 20 awesome vendors and free goody bags for the first 50 early birds on Saturday.

I created an etsy treasury to showcase some of the vendors who will be at the show. I think I found every vendor who sells on etsy and ended up adding one of my items in so I didn't duplicate. Look at all of the cool stuff that you can find at the show this weekend! Hope to see you there!

The Wisconsin street team trunk show was on Saturday night and it was a really fun event! I loved the mellow feel of the venue and loved meeting some great Wisconsin artists and crafters. Thanks to everyone who came by! I didn't take a single picture...the one here is stolen from Minefull's flickr photostream - thanks Jenn!





My friend Jessi is in the midwest visiting from New Mexico this week. I took her down to The Glitter Workshop and we browsed the shop for as long as my 3 year old could handle. Well, he couldn't handle it very long. But I still managed to find a fantastic hot cocoa candle hand poured into a vintage coffee mug that will be the perfect scent to spruce up my house for the holidays. Jessi found an awesome wallet that I am severely jealous of. And I will be going back for more in the coming weeks for sure - there are SO many great items right now! I am gearing up for the Craftacular this coming weekend. It should be a great event! I am going to try to screenprint one more batch of onesies and cards this week and possibly make a few picture frames if I can find the right supplies (and the time!) Then I am headed off to La Crosse on Thursday to spend some time with my family for Thanksgiving. It's going to be a crazy week. I can't wait!

I have had such a busy week and it's not slowing down. I'm picking my dear friend up at O'Hare tomorrow so any last crafting before Saturday's show and cleaning before company arrives will need to be finished tonight. Aaaah! I think I just realized that when I wrote it this very moment. Hello panic mode!

stuff

Last night I:
1.Made barbeque tofu and ate dinner with my husband and kids (rare!)
2.Screen printed a gigantic batch of cards, most of which will be used for swag for the High Noon Craftacular.
3.Was in bed by 11:30 (also super rare.)

This morning I:
1.Woke up early and didn't feel like a zombie
2.Cleaned up from last night's craftstravaganza, still didn't clean up from last night's dinner, but made it to my day job by 6:30am.













I am looking forward to:
1.Payday
2.Seeing my best friend and her little boy on Friday
3.Buying a new winter coat
4.WIST Trunk show this weekend
5.Craftacular next weekend
6.Thanksgiving so I can hang with my family
