okay.
I've been tagged...TWICE! Once by SugarbeeDesign and once by The Rocking Pony. So I guess I'd better do this thing already!
I am supposed to list 6 random things about myself. Hmmm. Okay. Here goes.
1. I went to Panera three times TODAY. Once for breakfast, once for lunch, once for an afternoon coffee break. This is an obscene and expensive addiction.
2. I won my school spelling bee in 7th grade - but did not get any further than the city spelling bee. The word I effed up? Sabotage. Ironic? Yes.
3. I have a Nike-checkmark-shaped scar on my right hand that is the result of a fight my brother and I had on an airplane when we were kids.
4. I am considering moving to San Antonio in the spring. I have never ever been there before.
5. I love scrabble and boggle and any other word games. I love you if you will play them with me.
6. When I was pregnant with my son I craved mashed potatoes and orange soda constantly.
Okay now it's my turn to tag six people. And I'm off to do that now!

Handmade for the Holidays!
Space Oddities and Applepanda will be bringing lots of crafty goodness to the 3rd Annual Holiday Craftacular in Madison, Wisconsin this winter! The craftacular is on November 24 & 25 - just in time for your Thanksgiving weekend shopping frenzy - and will be held at the High Noon Saloon.

My dear friend Jessi is flying in from New Mexico that weekend and we will be sharing a booth at this event. That's where Applepanda comes in! Originally Applepanda was Jessi and I collaborating our work to make greeting cards with fun removable felt gifts. Since both of our lives are so wild and busy lately (and because we live super far away from each other) we have not have much success collaborating recently. But Jessi has some great ideas for fun gifts and felty awesomeness for the show and plans to continue adding items into etsy shop going forward.

It's going to be the best craftacular yet! If you live in the Madison area please come check it out. Click on the flyer above for details and be sure to check Glitter Workshop's Website for a list of vendors in the coming weeks.

What are YOU wearing today?
Okay, I know this would work better with a picture but hey, what the heck...
Today I am wearing:
black tank top screen printed with pale pink unicorn
layered over hot pink t-shirt
Light blue and white checkered bandana screen printed in hot pink with etsy logo (wearing this as a hair wrap)
black and white owl necklace
Holy accessory overkill, batman!
I feel like I look about twelve years old. But I also feel GREAT and have decided it works.
I love that so much of my wardrobe and accessories are handmade by an array of awesome artists and crafters.
Isn't it grand?
Okay, your turn!

Something new.

I will be adding new onesie designs to my etsy shop soon! I only have a few left after the show this weekend but will be pressing more in an array of baby and kid sizes over the next few weeks. The owl and butterfly designs were the result of a collaboration between me and my fantastic husband, Chad. I LOVE working with him. It's so much more fun to create when I have someone to share it with! He is working on a few new things of his own for his etsy shop which he plans to open soon. Yay!
Home from Renegade!
Thanks to everyone who came out to Renegade over the weekend! It was such a fun show and a beautiful weekend. It was just fantastic to meet so many nice and talented artists and crafters. I made some great purchases including a camera strap from Souldier , an adorable shirt for my daughter from Craftpaca, fun postcards from Rar Rar Press, and few other assorted goodies from vendors that are slipping my mind right now.
The highlight of my weekend outside of Renegade was spending some quality time with my dear friend Leah who was kind enough to put me up for 3 nights. We were able to watch some stupid TV that I would never have time to watch at home, hang out at her boyfriend's bar, have leisurely breakfasts…it really made the weekend for me. So thanks, Leah. You are truly outrageous.
And…speaking of stupid television…or well, stupid videos on You Tube anyway, you must watch the hipster olympics if you haven't already. So. Flippin. Funny. GO HERE and you'll see what I mean. Please watch it all. The last ten seconds is the funniest.
